Plotting a Novel Workshop

Presented by Write On! Learning Every story begins with a question: where do we start, and how do we find our way to the end? In this workshop for writers ages 13 through adult, participants will explore the architecture of storytelling through the lens of the three-act structure, examining how plot, pacing, and conflict shape a compelling novel across genres. Designed for both emerging and experienced writers, this session offers an opportunity to develop new ideas, revisit foundational craft techniques, and engage in thoughtful discussion within a creative community of fellow writers. Participants will learn strategies for building narrative momentum, organizing story elements, and sustaining tension from opening scene to final page. Write On! Workshops are a time to unleash the imagination and discover the writer within while developing literacy skills, building confidence, and encouraging creativity.
